Signals

How scoring works

Short-term trading setups and long-run portfolio picks are logged with exact levels. A trading signal is a win when price reaches its take-profit before its stop-loss, a loss when the stop is hit first, and open until either happens. Signals scored with the current method (v2) enter at the next session's open (not the advertised level), pay costs and slippage, expire after 15 sessions, and record gaps; if that open is already past a level the signal is unfilled. Signals scored before v2 keep the advertised-level scoring until they are re-scored. R measures profit in units of the planned risk. A portfolio pick is a hit when price reaches its target range by the review date, missed when the review date passes without it, and open until either happens; its result is measured in return %, never mixed with R. For portfolio picks the headline rate is the share of picks in profit at today's price, open ones at their current price; “target reached so far” counts only picks that already hit.

These signals come from a strategy family that has not shown an out-of-sample edge in backtests. This page exists to measure it honestly, forward.

As of Nov 7, 2026 — the numbers are refreshed after each daily scoring run. Intervals: Wilson 95% for rates; for averages, a 95% bootstrap that resamples whole weeks, since signals published in the same week share a market. Against chance (weekly): each trading signal is compared with the same trade — instrument, direction, stop and target — entered on a random day within 20 sessions of it, and each portfolio pick with its market's benchmark over the same dates; p is the chance of doing at least as well by luck.
